Tsunami Disaster

Did you know that today there was a 1 minute silence to remember and reflect upon the incident. It was at 11:59am when the earthquake actually hit on boxing day.

My friend was in Sri Lanka on that day and so I've been worried since but a week or so ago, I found out that she was safe so the incident has infact affected me in some way unlike the Bali Bombings and alike so I'd like to just have a minutes silence here.

I'm bored!

Oh my goodness I am SO bored! NO ONE IS EMAILING ME!!!!!!! I feel sad ;_;

well not really I'm just tired I guess. Where is everyone? Probably all out there living!

story of my new jeans! It's rather funny!

How am I? Not that good actually. Ok let's re-phrase that. I'm OK, I just don't feel all that crash hot at the moment. Maybe because I'm tired...I think I ate too much at Karen and David's house...too much dip, not good. Hey Fujiko I just realised, I worked out how to log in again! *claps* I'm so proud. I don't think I have anything else to say.

Exams- we don't want them

I write this to express my contempt against exams. Not little tests and all that, but the big end-of-year exams- the ones that decide your desired future. What happens, by some weird twist of fate, that you do so badly? I mean, surely they must take in the account of your participation in class as well as other tests. I don't like how the mark stands out so vividly on your report (even though that's the main thing that matters). ...anyway, I probably shouldn't be complaining, because they are so 'necessary' and all that, but after a week of having at least one big exam every day, and staying up until 10:30 at night (which is ironic, given that you should get a good-night's sleep before your exam). Yeah.

I'm Hungry

Here's a scenario:

You come home from a badminton match, after enduring eight hours of school, running around like a maniac with your badminton partner, feeling like a fool, willing yourself to be a better player, but at the end feel alright about it because you won. You retire to the car, your mother at the wheel, happy taht you won and enjoyed your game.
"Mum, what's for dinner?"
"Oh, we've run out of pasta, so you'll have to settle for party pies."
You groan at the fact that it takes more than 6 party pies to fill your tummy, but you have to share some with your little brother.
"Oh well, doesn't matter," you think. "I'll just load up on chips and chocolate."
So, while the party pies are in the oven, you open the pantry door and find the box of chocolates, neatly stored up high. You grab it, it feels unusually light. You open it to find NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH, NOT EVEN A WRAPPER! You chuck it on the floor, feeling remorseful at your older brother for him being a pig for eating all the chocies. His excuse is always the same; I was hungry.
"Well that's okay, i'll just eat lots of packets of chips," you think. You open the cupboard door, take out the mega pack, look inside and- there are only two packets left, one a flavour which you puke at, the other your favourite. You weigh up the options; either eat it now, or have it for recess tomorrow. You decide on the latter, and patiently wait for your dinner.

It's the next day, recess. You feel happy, because you're starving but that's okay, because your favourite flavour of chips is in the lunch box. You open the lunchbox and- it's the other flavour of chips. ARRRRRGH! This is a day in the life of Nayru. Well not everyday, but Thursdays mainly, when we were playing badminton.

Layout

Welcome everyone! This layout was made by Fujiko and it features Mitsuki from Fullmoon wo Sagshite. The layout is called 'Smile' because of the lyrics to the left and because she's smiling so much! So cute!! Anyway.. this is the first layout for T.A.A.G and it's very blue. Well I hope everyone likes it!

The Girls

Nayru
Nayru is 15 years old, plays the piano and Trumpet. Oh, she's a girl too. She is obsessed with the CSI series and alike, The Legend of Zelda (and any other video game for that matter) as well as a range of other stuff. She finds maths interesting although thinks that the maths teacher should change her classroom rules a bit- especially on whistling. Nayru likes to whistle. Japanese is a fave subject, shounen anime and manga are her pets. She has a fluffy pet cat, by the way. She is going to leave it at this now, as a new episode of CSI is about to begin.

Fujiko
Fujiko is a 14 year old girl who knows how to play the piano and violin. She enjoys maths (strange), art and music. She is Chinese (cantonese) and loves manga and anime. She tries hard to learn Japanese in order to be able to read manga and watch anime. She also really loves web designing and playing badminton.

Sunflower
Sunflower is a freak. She knows it, her friends know it and she's proud of it. She confuses everyone with her constantly changing personality and fickle nature. Her current goals in life are:
1: To go for more than a week without losing her temper
2: Playing 'Smoke on the water' on her trombone
She has few interests outside eating and slacking off yet she is described as 'a lovely girl' by family friends.

Miki
Miki is a 15 year old girl who lives in Australia. She plays the piano and the trumpet. She is of Ukranian descent, and has a Jewish family. She loves languages, especially Japanese and German which she learns at school, and Russian which she speaks with her family. Her favourite movie is Lord of the Rings, which she is obsessed with. She loves manga and anime. One of her favourite pass-times is reading. Her favourite books are either fantasy or historical romance. Her favourite author is Tamora Pierce. Miki is a very friendly girl, and loves making friends on the internet.
